S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® will help you to identify safe and fraudulent web sites
'at-a-glance'.
Just watch the S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® window:
| |
| |
When you believe you are connected to a web site that subscribes to the S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® service, and you are, a reassuring logo of the subscribing company is displayed. |
| |
When you see the red symbol, S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® has identified this as a security risk but the user is still protected. The fraudulent web site will be blocked helping to prevent malware being downloaded, and the user will be offered to be directed to the authentic site. |
| |
When you see the yellow symbol, S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® has attempted to authenticate the site but has failed. You should exercise caution on whether to use the website. If you normally see a Bank or e-retailers logo and suddenly you don't then use extreme caution. |
| |
When you see the Grey symbol, S.O.L.I.D. Authentication® has taken no action with regard to this site as it does not subscribe to the service. |
