Display Modes - Please Wait

S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® can display wait messages whilst it is analysing the security of the current site.

S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® can not report on the authentication of a page until it has completed. This is because the last line it downloads could be a harmful frame, or even redirect you to a totally different fraudulent site. So to be safe no report is shown until the page has fully loaded. If this is the case S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® will display 'Waiting for page', meaning the browser is still loading the page.

However sometimes the web site you are visiting can take a while to complete or even be badly written and be waiting for (say) an image that isn't available. Under these conditions the page will never complete. To force S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® to report click the red cross stop button in the browser to stop the page loading and then S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® will report. The exception to this is if S.O.L.I.D. Authentication ® has detected the site is fraudulent it will prevent any download to reduce the chance of malware infecting your computer and immediately report the site as RED as soon as it detects an issue.
